The Dream Team
Partners Jill Giese, John Dingle and Laurel McLaughlin lead a team of conscientious, enthusiastic staff. Our professional riders are originally trained in Germany at infamous centres of excellence and further tutored in-house. The important ground staff are trained and managed by John Dingle to observe the highest in animal care.
Jill Giese
Raised with Alberta cowboy know-how, Jill's horsemanship skills were furthered with fifteen years of training in Europe. From Canadian Western Championships through jumping with legendary English hunts and on to dressage accolades her riding and competition experience is varied and exciting. Privileged to learn from some of the world's best trainers and riders (Carl Hester, Anky van Grunsven, Kyra Kyrklund, Michael Beining and Hannes Baumgart) she has developed a unique teaching program. Drawing from this eclectic background her approach in training, breeding and competing is very much designed with the individual's need in mind. Her ultimate goal is to enable students to reach their potential, ultimately on a Hanoverian bred at the farm!
John Dingle
Co-founder of Dreamcatcher Meadows, John follows the European training system, sharing it with clients. Drawing on his English agricultural background John sets the standard and ensures that exceptional animal husbandry is practiced by staff and clients. He is admired for his boundless energy and sense of humour. His accomplishments in the Young Horse classes in Canada, training methods and work with novice riders are elaborated below.
Laurel McLaughlin
Laurel brings experience in the discipline of jumping and the boardroom to the breeding venture - Dreamcatcher Meadows Elite Sport Horses (DMESH). Her equine and organizational skills provide an important part of our foundation. Laurel and her daughters continue their equine dreams at the farm.
