Stall mats Information
Equimat stall mats measure 6' x 4' and are available in two thicknesses. The Standard 20 mm thick stall mat is ideal for an average sized horse or pony and is light enough at about 29 pounds per mat (although still very durable!!) to take to shows or clinics (See Show Mats). The Equimat Supersoft is 28mm thick, weighs about 44 pounds and is recommended for heavier or large framed horses, animals with joint issues or rest and foaling stalls. It is very popular with veterinary centers both in operating theatres and recovery or rest stalls. If you aren't certain which to choose, call us and we will be happy to discuss your needs.
A 10' x 12' stall requires 5 mats for the floor and a 12' x 12' stall requires 6 mats. Both thicknesses measure 6' x 4'. One of the wonderful features of Equimats is they are easy to customize to any size or configuration requirement. See the mini-video in Installation.
It is easy to re-locate your mats if you are a boarder, decide to change your stabling arrangements or wish to add on to an existing run.
Aisle ways, tack rooms or any human area can be covered by either the equine Equimats or for colour choices (e.g. matching stable colours) and smart looking beveled edges and corners see the choices by clicking on the icon on our home page with the people on it.
